An environmental awareness drive was organised on 31st August, 2019 at 10 AM on the eve of Gowri-Ganesha Festival at Andolana Circle, Mysuru. The event aimed at educating people about harmful chemicals used in preparing Ganesha idols and taught people how to make eco-friendly idols themselves without the use of any harmful substances. The participants of the programme got to take home the idols that they made.
